Year 11 students, Ben Rule, Christopher Ross and Sam Woodcock, of Archbishop Holgate's School, are climbing a staggering 9000 metres during their Easter holidays. The climb reaches the equivalent of Mount Everest, a feat achieved by few. We are raising money for the York Special Care Baby Unit. The inspiration for our challenge came from a member of staff at school having a child who was cared for in the unit. Sam was also on the unit as a baby. We are completing the climb between the 11th and 15th of April at Energise.
Your support is vital and with the money raised we hope to help purchase some equipment for use in the unit so that it can continue its wonderful work.
