I'm going to "run" (it may involve a fair bit of walking) the Sheffield Half Marathron to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

 

This is an issue that's very close to my heart. When I was young my Uncle died from liver cancer and a few years back my Dad was also diagnosed with carcinoid cancer. Thankfully, the cancer my dad suffers from is not as sever as it can be and he has not had to undergo Chemotherapy and at the moment is doing fine.

 

But when I recieved the news, it completely shook my world and I didn't take it very well. It's hard to truely describe that feeling when you're told someone you love has cancer no matter how mild it is so I thought since I'm undertaking this run I should do it for my Dad, Uncle and all those who suffer from or loved somebody whose suffers from cancer.
