Industry legend and all round good guy Charles Cecil is swimming from Alcatraz and so am I! Anyone who knows Charles will be more than aware that he is one of the most disarming characters in the entire video games industry so when he suggested a swim from Alcatraz at GDC there was literally no way I could refuse.

It'll be the second time on the swim for me but with swimming having taken a back seat to other sporting endeavours in the last few years this time around it's going to be much more of a challenge. Training starts in earnest Jan 1st, I'll be dusting down my goggles and hitting the pool and the icy seas of Brighton beach as much as possible.
