More than half of prisoners currently held in Guantanamo have been cleared for release and have no charges against them. Most are now on hunger strike and are force fed every day.

In protest against this and in a small act of solidarity, Reprieve have organised the Stand Fast for Justice campaign. As part of this I have signed up for a 72 hour fast from midnight on on the 9th until midnight on the 12th August.

Reprieve do excellent work in providing legal support to prisoners around the world, from death row to Guantanamo Bay.
