EDIT: The day went really well and the response was brilliant! A big thank you to everyone who turned up for the event, and those who donated! Fingers crossed I will be able to upload the pictures soon! Also, keep an eye on the Examiner. I have been told that it will be appearing in the next couple of days. I am keeping this page open for any last donations in response to my appearance in the RSPCA newsletter. Once again, thank you for supporting me in raising money for this worthy cause!
EDIT: Today is the big day! It's not too late to sponsor me, as I will be leaving this page active for a couple of days after. Photos will be up soon and you'll be able to read all about it in the Huddersfield Examiner.
A big thanks to everyone who has sponsored me so far! We've exceeded both targets (£100 and £150) and we haven't even reached the event! Thank you for helping me support my local RSPCA branch! I'm glad to see so many people giving to the RSPCA. Thank you all!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm raising money for my local RSPCA district by putting myself through the agony of a full-on leg waxing down at the Brighouse RSPCA charity shop on June 2nd! The event itself will be happening right in the window for all to see, courtesy of "PS... For That Little Bit More", the salon next door. The local newspaper, The Echo, will also be present so even if you can't be there on the day, you'll be in the know about how it went down!
I'm hoping to raise £100 so that animals that aren't so lucky to have a loving home, or to get the care and attention they deserve, get a second chance and, above all else, to help stop cruelty against animals once and for all.
You can help me acheive this by visiting the Brighouse RSPCA charity shop and making a donation (either donating on the day or pledging an amount to pay later), by donating through JustGiving (details below) or you can donate on the day!
In the coming days I will be posting pictures up so you can see the 'before' shots and judge for yourself just how painful it will be, and how much fun it will be to see the event! If, like me, you care about the welfare of animals please help me raise money for them.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
