Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Fifteen of us finished the walk in just over 6 hours on Saturday 7th May 2011. sore feet but we all made it!

On 25th January 2011, a good friend, Private Martin Bell of 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, was fatally wounded by an improvised explosive device. Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Harrison, Commanding Officer, 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, said: "Pte Martin Bell died going to the assistance of a critically injured friend in the most dangerous combat circumstances imaginable; 'greater love has no man than this".

In support of the Parachute Regiment Afghanistan Trust, which is a charity who support the soldiers and there familys who have been injured and killed in Afghanistan, I'm organising a sponsored walk around the Circle Line on Saturday 7th May 2011 to every Tube station on the line. It is about approximately 18 miles, and I will be joined by several of my Radiographer colleagues. So if you would like to support me, Rachael Bowie, Brian Turner, David Bowen, David Hall, Haley Duffy, Sara Savidge, Sarah Barron, Matthew Birchenough, Misha Solarov, Hayley Jeffries, Jackie Pease-Cox and Matthew Trevail please dig deep and make a donation.

Thank you Carl
