Glencoe Mountain Rescue has been providing a free rescue service in the Glencoe area since 1961. Run entirely by volunteers and hugely reliant on donations for funding, the rescue service extends to mountains, rivers, lochs, caves and the sea across North Argyll and on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 16th June I am swimming a mile in Lake Windermere with a big group of friends to raise money for the Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team. I am swimming in memory of friends who died in an avalanche in Jaunary. The Glencoe Mountain Rescue were excellent and rely solely on donations. Please support the Rescue team to help them to continue doing great things!
