This year I'm running the Manchester 10k, I have paid for my own place in the run, enabling all money raised to go straight to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Thank you very much for the generous donations I have already had since going live with my fundraising efforts, I have been training hard, and with only 5 weeks to go before the race am continuing those efforts.  Having barely been able to complete a 2k run back in November, I am now regularly doing local 5k park runs and 8.5km training runs.

My Aunt was diagnosed with this disease just three months ago, but sadly it has been very progressive, and she is now facing the end of life stage.

Supporting the Motor Neurone Disease Association has given her family the much needed courage and strength to face the coming months.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association funds much needed research into finding a cure for this terminal disease as well as providing support to people living with MND and their families.

Please consider donating what you can, due to the low number of people that get affected, this disease is not high on the list when it comes to funding so every little helps.
