Pennine Bridleway Charity ride May 10th to May 18th 2010
I have rapidly evolving relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis and as a way of
expressing my thanks to my MS specialist nurse and the MS Society I have decided
to do a ride on my dales mare Rose of 120 miles along the Pennine Bridleway and
Mary Towneley Loop.
I am also raising money for our local Air Ambulance service, (Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance link to page http://www.justgiving.com/ClairC-Calvert and I hope to raise a total of £1000 for the two charities, so please support me in this.
I am starting my ride by
doing the Mary Towneley Loop with my husband and Dad on mountain bikes,
then riding south along the Pennine Bridleway back home to Flagg with my
husband.
I have a customised saddle made for me by Les Spark of Free 'n' Easy
which has allowed me to keep doing the endurance rides Rose and I love
and I have even bought another one for my younger mare Dilly! So must express my thanks for keeping me riding!
