After completing the Great North Run in September '09 I caught the long distance 'Bug'...........Now i have set myself a target of running in all the Bupa Great runs, beginning with the Great Winter Run in January '10.  To make it that much harder for myself, I have decided to attempt to do all the runs in Military kit too (nothing too adventureous, just DPM trousers, boots and a t-shirt!!).

All this effort is for an amazingly deserving charity called 'NOWZAD Dogs'............a sanctuary/ re-homing centre in Afghanistan, set up to help the many, many homeless, stray and unwanted dogs, escape from harm and set them up with safe, loving homes in the UK and the US.  Hopefully with your support, the money I raise will go to enabling the charity to continue to save lives and also educate the local people.
