So yesterday I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane!
Luckily despite my nerves, once we got the ball rolling with our safety briefing and then suiting up, it all happened rather...well not smoothley as there is a lot of manhandling involved... but quickly and somewhat efficiently!
My instructor was Andy who was great and we also had Rich with us taking photos and videos and making me laugh as we made our way up to our jump. I have to admit it was a surprise to be above the clouds and then find out we still had another 10,000ft left to climb!!!
Of the jump, one of my best memories is of Rich plummeting to the ground. And no, before you think that he was in trouble and that I'm mean for laughing, I should state that he was in total control the whole time.
Since Rich was jumping alone, it meant that he continued his freefall while our chute opened giving me my first look at how fast we had gone! We had been told during our briefing that we would be travelling at 120mph during our 60sec freefall but it really didnt feel as though we were moving much at all. Hence seeing Rich's descent put it all in perspective!
All in all the day was a great one and something i'll always remember.
Thanks to everyone whos supported me this far, I'm amazed at what we've achieved and I'm still hoping we can raise a little more in the coming weeks.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
While personally i've not needed the help of CLIC Sargent, sadly while in school i did know a couple of families who werent as lucky.
So when i heard that CLIC Sargent would be trying to break the world record for the most tandem skydive attempts in 24hrs, I found myself asking 'why not'?!? Afterall, if i can potentially help families by raising money and awareness while doing a SKYDIVE then surley theres no question of taking part...
This said i need everyones help. Whether you give £1 or £20 it will all make a difference so please dig deep and donate now. Lets make a difference together!
