In November I will be swimming the distance of the New York Marathon in aid of Brain Tumour UK. This equates to 26.2 miles or 1,257 lengths of a 33m swimming pool (1,659 lengths of a 25m pool) to be more precise, which means that I will be swimming close to 320 lengths a week!!

As well as  being fitter as a result, I hope to raise at least £200 for Brain Tumour UK, a charity that provides information and support to people with brain tumours, as well as financing research to put an end to this horrible illness. I have known a few people who have suffered from this terrible illness and I want to do my bit!
