Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 6 September 2009, I was admitted to hospital, not quite 35 weeks pregnant and with frightening signs that my unborn child wanted to make a bid for freedom. The following day, Oliver was born and it was clear immediately that he was having difficulty breathing. After just a fleeting time with him, Oliver was transferred to the intensive care nursery. We finally got to meet our son through the barrier of an incubator with all the frightening sights and sounds that come with a neo-natal unit.
However, the staff at St George's were fantastic, taking the time to look after us as parents as well as the tiny babies in their care. This is our opportunity to say a very special "thank-you" to them for all their hard work and dedication. Many of the gizmos and gadgets we saw in the NNU were bought through charitable donations and anything you can do to help us help Ickle Pickles to carry on this work would be very gratefully received!
So thank you, thank you, thank you!!
