I am taking part in the race for life this year because over the last few years I am hearing the C word more and more often. Just by taking part in an event like this helps to raise money and awareness for such a great charity.  I am taking part in support of a great friend of mine who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has already gone through a lot! I am determined to complete the event and at the moment plan to jog round, but this may change to a walk or even a crawl :)

Cancer has affected a few people close to me so I will be raising awareness with those people in mind also :)
