Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am raising money for the Ulster Cancer Foundation. Their work is only possible due to the work of local people, who
raise almost all the funding needed to provide their services. All the
money raised is spent in Northern Ireland, helping to
support local people with cancer.
In anticipation of my last race of the season I want to ask you to donate what you can. Anything at all is appreciated, no matter how small.
My races to date have included three sprint distance races (750m swim, 20k cycle, 5k run) and three olympic distance races (1500m swim, 40k cycle, 10k run). My last and pending race is the Portaferry triathlon, which is Olympic distance or thereabouts, after which I shall enjoy sitting in the sauna at lunchtimes and maybe even treat myself to a massage. I hope you think I have worked hard enough to be worthy of a couple of pounds of sponsorship!
My fund raising target is high - £500. If I reach my target then great, if not then well we've still raised money for a great cause. It's just like racing - set your sights high because anything is possible!!
