Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In four weeks, on the 8th January, my friend Tracy and I leave for Tanzania, to tackle one of the biggest challenges that I've set myself yet; to climb Mt Kilimanjaro, the highest walkable mountain in the world.  Standing at 15,000 ft, the trek will take six days, with the longest day to the summit, totalling approximately 15 hours.  This trek is no walk in the park!

However, I'm not just doing this for myself.  As a lot of you will know, my gorgeous little niece Sienna has Autism.  So I'm walking for Sienna, and every other extraordinary child like her, that are challenged on a daily basis with tasks that most of us take for granted.  The money raised will go to The Autism Trust UK, a charity that makes a difference and provides a future for people and their families dealing with Autism.  Autism is now a worldwide epidemic affecting 1 in 86 children here in the UK alone and this is something we just can't ignore. Which is why I'm writing to you, I would really appreciate any support you could give in helping me achieve my target of being able to donate £2,000 to The Autism Trust to help them make a difference in these families' lives.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.  Thanks so much!
