I’m running the Manchester half marathon on October 13th 2019 in memory of my amazing son Axl who was born with a rare blood disorder called CDA, he after a second successful bone marrow transplant, he got an infection, and after 3 weeks of fighting he just couldn’t fight anymore, he  sadly passed away on march 7th 2018, three days before his 3rd birthday  

He was a beautiful little boy who had a zest for life, even when in hospital it never stopped him enjoying life, but it can be hard, so I’m raising money to help get toys for the children’s ward, and specialist equipment for the children who spend so much time in hospital
