There are a couple of reasons I have decided to do this. We all are affected by Cancer at some point in our lives, either directly or indirectly. I think we should all do as much as we can to help this amazing charity & that is when I came across the Cancer Research UK lingerie shoot challenge. What better way to raise some money for such an important cause & to also show that women come in all shapes & sizes. There is so much pressure to conform to the "norm" & what we see on social media, TV, in magazines - the list goes on (good old photoshop!)! However that is not the realistic image :) We are all beautiful inside & out so I think this is a really good way of also showing this. We should all love our bodies & not feel ashamed of it.

Finally this is also a personal challenge to myself, & not just to try & reach & hopefully exceed my target (fingers crossed!). Following a lot of ill health & then weight gain it has been inevitable my self-esteem has been rock bottom. However I am working very hard on this & have already lost weight & inches but I wanted to do something for me but at the same time I wanted there to be something behind this challenge, hence the decision to join the Cancer UK lingerie shoot. This is completely out of my comfort zone & certainly not something I ever thought I would do BUT I am & any money raise in the meantime is so so gratefully received. Thankyou for reading :)
