Thank you for visiting my Sheffield Half Marathon Just Giving page in support of the Sheffield Scanner.

On 8 April 2018 I'll be taking part in the Run for All Sheffield Half Marathon as part of the University of Sheffield team. We're raising funds for the University's £2 million campaign to bring a MRI-PET scanning facility to Sheffield, the first of its kind in Yorkshire.

Although I like to run 10K races, it's been 15 years since I last competed in a half marathon like this - I said I wouldn't do another one as I had knee pain for 6 miles of the race! This is going to be a challenging half marathon as the route is hilly up to Ringinglow, but I'm aiming to complete the 13 miles in under 2 hours.
