Hi Everybody!

Well as some of you know, in a moment of inspiration (or madness?!) back in October, I went and signed myself up to run the Lincoln 10k on the 21st March!! I know it's not a long way for a lot of people, but any of you that have ever seen me try and run anywhere, will understand the challenge!!!

I'm going to be running to raise money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) in memory of my very good friend, Max French, who sadly died suddenly in 2007 from cardiac complications and is sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

The training is going well (so far) and running in the snow is proving very interesting indeed...! But perseverance is the name of the game and I'm keen to raise as much money as possible for a charity that does so much good work. CRY is a charity that offers help, support and counselling to families where there has been a sudden cardiac death of an apparently fit and healthy young person (Sudden Death Syndrome, SADS, SCD, SUDS). I understand there's a lot of requests for sponsorship floating around at the moment so please just give whatever you can spare, every penny will be greatly appreciated (and earnt!!).
