On Saturday 1st May 2010, Claire Maddock, Sam Maddock, Kirk Maddison, Simon Fawcett, Michael Leathley and Catherine Sutherland will be setting off to complete the Coast to Coast from Workington on the West Coast to Tynemouth on the East Coast by bicycle.

We will be completing the course (140 miles) in 3 days! all in aid of the charity Cool Earth.

Initially we decided to do this for fun but decided it would be a good opportunity to raise money for a good cause, Cool Earth is the named charity, Keeping rainforests standing is the first step in the fight against climate change. You can cut CO₂ emissions today by protecting endangered forests with Cool Earth.
