Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to raise funds and awareness for Batten Disease.

Can you believe I got a ballot place in this years London Marathon!!!!!!!!

As most of you are aware I have  been very lucky to have known Ben for 7 years and have some amazing memories that I have shared. Many of you will have over this time supported me in raising awareness and funds for the Batten Disease Family Association, the only dedicated charity supporting Batten families and facilitating research into this disease. I wish to thank all who have continued to support me in my many fundraisng madnesses!

Sadly Ben passed away peacfully in November and I  would like to use this opportunity of running the London Marathon to raise more awareness and funds for this incredible charity in memory of Ben and  to show continuing support for the family. If you want to know more please go to www.bdfa-uk.org.uk or come and "cheer me and the other 2 runners on" on the day all wearing bright orange Batten t-shirts.  You can too if you wish by contacting fundraising@bdfa-uk.org.uk
