As most of you know (sorry to the ones that have had to listen to me bang on about it for months), I have been desperate to run the London Marathon. I have now been lucky enough to be selected for a place by the North Devon Hospice. This is great charity to run for and I hope to raise lots of money!
HOORAY I HAVE COMPLETED MY FIRST MARATHON - 4.33 - thoroughly enjoyed the experience - thank so so much to everyone for there fantastic support!!

Well here we are only 5 days to go - OMG how exciting. All training runs complete as per my plan, except a 3 mile in the morning! Looking forward to putting on more weight over next couple days when I carb up - mmm... lots of wine gums!

20 miles completed last Sunday - was very pleased to get this distance done - 22 miles tomorrow - so stuffing wine gums, and pasta down my neck as I type!!
Mandi and I had 2 coffee mornings over last few days and raised a massive £330.00. So thank you to anyone that baked cakes and attended!
4 WEEKS TOMORROW TO GO - my emotions are going mad!

Getting ready for a few hard weeks of training, consisting of 18, 20 and 22 miles! Need to stay well and injury free!
Completed the Bideford half marathon in PB - 1.49.37 - not sure how many legs will make another 13.1 but am sure they will!
Made a fool of myself on Westcountry TV tonight - so think that deserves a donation in itself!

Completed another fundraising event - Quiz night and raffle at the Reform, Pilton - raised a massive £294.00.
Had a beer brewed by Barum Brewery "Marathon" Ale read all about it in the Journal - 10p pint going to the Hosice.
COMPLETED 14 MILES - whoop whoop - longest I have ever run and can still walk - big bonus!

Torrington Christmas Caper 2009 completed - was freezing temperatures, ran through knee deep water, but with gritted teeth made it over the finish line.
Other good news - my running buddy Mandi Yeo has gained a Club Place for the marathon to - so will have someone to run the streets with over the next few months.
