This year I am running the Edinburgh Half Marathon for my 3rd time. But this time it's little different as I have the added pressure of running for charity!! 

 

Why Macmillan Cancer Support? Both my granny and grandad have been touched by cancer and sadly my grandad lost his battle recently. It's my turn to give something back for all they did for my granny and grandad. So this year I am running in my grandads memory. Macmillan offer an invaluable service and provide a lifeline for those affected by cancer and also their family too. I can't speak highly enough of them. Because my granny and grandad are from a remote village and have no family close at hand, without Macmillan they would have really struggled. Macmilan arranged everything from transport to and from hospital to care for their pets while they were both away. They really took away any worries that my granny and grandad would have had to face had Macmillan not been there for them. Please please help me to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful charity.
