In October I will be travelling to India for two weeks as part of a team of volunteers. We are aiming to help 10,000 people who suffer from poor vision because they do not have access to eye care or they simply can't afford it (in some countries eyewear costs more than a month's salary).
Poor vision negatively effects a child's ability to learn in school and robs an adult of independence, mobility and quality of life.
