Dear Friends,
On Saturday 15th May, my brother and I will be walking 60KM of the South Downs in one day. Well, one day and a large chunk of the following night.
Many of my closest friends know how saddened I feel about the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's easy to talk and talk, but my brother and I both wanted to take some time and do something postive and raise some money for Combat Stress who are the leading charity specialising in the care of British veterans who have been profoundly traumatised by harrowing experiences during their Service career.
The walk will be a tough and arduous feat (feet?) but we will have each other's company, the beauty of the English countryside and the desire to do something for others to sustain us.
