It seems pretty ludicrous asking for sponsorship when all I'm doing is what I often do (dancing like a thing possessed for several hours) - albeit in fancy dress (again, not all that unusual for me!).  I'm also mindful of my friends who have done/are doing far greater, more impressive challenges for charity.  

However, this horrible disease took my precious dad a few months ago after a brave four year battle, and I've decided that if anyone would like to part with some cash to help with the search for a cure then I'll give them the opportunity.

As an added bonus (and in honour of my dad who loved mad stuff), anyone who sponsors me can (if they want!) give me an extra 'challenge' for the evening, provided it doesn't get me chucked out!  I'll endeavour to do it and will get photographic proof!  Just bear in mind that I'll be in the middle of Birmingham arena!!
