The Lily 21 Challenge is the ideal way to kickstart 2021while helping people affected by mitochondrial diseases. Set yourself a personal fundraising challenge based on the number 21. Could be a 21km walk, run 21 miles in a week, 2.1 min plank etc.

Story

I’m starting January with an exercise challenge to help the wonderful Lily Foundation in memory of Jacob.

We have learnt more than ever that people need hope.

Hope for a better future , hope that someone is on their side.

That’s what this amazing charity does to people affected by Mito.

For us the charity was there when we were on our knees. They supported us from diagnosis and beyond.

The research they fund give us hope that one day the story for another little boy like Jacob will be different. That his parents won’t hear the words we were told. That they will have a future with the most previous thing on their lives.

So please donate if you can. Just £2 that’s all  I’m asking for. The price of a cup of tea or a coffee - the £2 add up and together we can give a little hope.

Thank you so very much x

The Lily Foundation funds research into Mitochondrial Disease and other metabolic disorders. It also raises important awareness and supports those families who are affected with metabolic disorders.
