Abseil off a church tower in Swanage · 1 July 2013

Restored Eating Disorders Services offers support to people with eating disorders. Our objectives are to promote & protect the physical & mental health of sufferers of eating disorders & carers of people suffering with eating disorders in the UK through the provision of support, education & advice.

Story

I have decided to walk 100ft backwards... down a church tower! I'm facing my fear of heights in order to raise funds for I-EAT, a charity I've recently started volunteering with who support, mentor and offer counselling to people suffering from Anorexia, Bulimia and Compulsive Eating disorders. It's a sad reality that many people suffer in silence with eating problems that control their lives. I-EAT aims to offer a safe environment for people to get on the road to recovery. They have an excellent recovery rate and are making a huge difference to the lives of many people who would otherwise not receive the support they need. I feel passionate that I-EAT is doing amazing work in the Bournemouth area and we despirately need funds to sustain it and grow it for the future. Please take a minute to look at their website www.i-eat.org.uk.
