- distance cycled: 270km
- height climbed: 10,000 ft 
- hours of cycling in rain: 14
- punctures: 16
- broken chains: 6
- and one cyclist spectacularly hurtling over his handlebars straight into a canal, followed by his bike ... Priceless!
