On the 17th October 2010 I will be attempting to complete the Cardiff half marathon on behalf of Live Life the Give Life a charity which is close to my families hearts.

On Christmas Day 2003 my sister recieved a kidney transplant which changed the quality of her life for the foreseeable future. My sister is one of the lucky ones. Each year, 1000 people in the UK die awaiting an organ transplant due to the desperate shortage of organ donors. More than 9000 seriously ill people are currently waiting for an organ transplant to save or radically improve their lives, and many more require tissue transplants.
