I am participating in the Great Scottish Run (10K) on Sunday 2nd September 2012 as part of Team Auchrannie we are all taking part to raise money for Chloe's Chemoo Cows - which is Auchrannie's Charity of the year 2012.

You may be unfamiliar with the charity - as i was.  The charity was set up in memory of 11 year old Chloe Alexandra McNeil who sadly lost her fight with an inoperable and incurable brain tumour just 9 months after her initial diagnosis.

Please look at www.chloeschemoocows.com to read more details on the charity and the great work both Chloe's parents and the charity are doing for other children who spend time in the Schiehallion Ward at Yorkhill.

As for me, im sooooo unfit and struggle to run for the bus never mind a 10k but I will do it even if i have to crawl around the route.  Equally, i have no time in mind - to complete it on the Sunday will be an achievement for me (seriously!).
