We will be completing the Great North Swim (1 mile) on 23rd June to help Claire's Niece Eve.  http://www.greatswim.org/events/british-gas-great-north-swim/ 

Eve was born with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, this affects both her arms and legs. Eve is 7 and is unable to walk or play with her little sister Scarlett. 

  

Fortunately, Eve has recently been selected for "Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy" by the world renowned Dr TS Park at the St Louis Children's Hospital in Missouri, USA. SDR is a complex procedure but will give Eve a real shot at increased mobility and a fully independent life, both of which are just a distant dream today. Eve’s family need to raise £100,000 this year, this will cover the costs of the operation and provide physio for the next 5 years which is essential in maximising the benefits of the procedure.  No matter how big or small your contribution may be, we would really appreciate a donation to help Eve and make my ordeal worthwhile!
