Daniel is the big brother of one of Harriet's friends. Daniel is a kind, gentle boy who I have never seen with out a big smile on his face! 

Daniel has been fighting Leukemia for 3 years (since he was 19 months old). He has been through a really tough time, including having a bone marrow transplant in 2013 which left him unable to walk on his own and affected his speech.   He continue to battle the disease and is amazing the doctors by how well he still remains. He's a cheerful and happy boy who doesn't let anything stop him. He starts school in September 

I am running to support Daniel and help  raise money for a wonderful charity who have been an invaluable support to Daniel and his parents. Home from home Accomodation in both Oxford and Bristol has taken the financial pressures of travelling to and from swindon every day and allowed both parents to remain close to Daniel at times when he needed them.

This is also about raising awareness of childhood cancer as part of a campaign that runs throughout September.
