Living in a rural community such as North Cornwall the Air Ambulance is a very vital service that we are lucky to have. They need all the support people can give them and all the fund raising ideas help towards keeping the service up and running for everyone around.

In mid January 2015, my Little Grandaugter, Lowenna, was taken poorly and had to be air lifted to Trelisk Hospital, Truro with suspected meningitis.  Luckily she was given the all clear and sent home after staying the night.

If it wasn't for the Air Ambulance they would have had to wait for a road ambulance to travel the 50 mile trip to the hospital taking up to an hour.  For all the quick response and care from the Air Ambulance team we are very grateful.

I feel it is a service we all need to keep running for the future of the young, old, locals and visitors to ensure top care in emergencies such like Lowenna's and many more.
