Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Back in January, the TSB CEO launched his annual challenge to Beat the Boss at the London Triathlon 2017.  I was at the start of my mid-life crisis and this seemed like such a good idea!  Little did I know quite how hard it was going to be.  But 6 months on I've completed 2 triathlons and the training is going fine.  I've developed all sorts of aches and pains along the way (it's the mid-life thing), but I'm going to keep going and get round that course no matter what.  For those that are not Triathlon junkies, that means a 750m open water swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run.

I'm raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.  My nephew has this genetic disease for which, as yet, there is no cure.  But funds are needed for more research, both to find a cure and develop further life lengthening treatments.

Thank you for visiting my page and I hope you can support the CF Trust.
