Brentwood Half Marathon 2014 · 23 March 2014 ·

Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Story

Essex Boot Camp is a close knit family and when we heard that one of our members was going through a difficult time we all wanted to help.

Lily is 20 months old and in August 2013 was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. After 10 days of gruelling tests, the family were informed, thankfully that the cancer had not spread and Lily has now started a 3-month treatment plan in order to firstly shrink, and then remove the tumour.

If we can raise £100 to contribute to the £5,000 target it would go along way to helping Lily, her family and will raise awareness of the charity and the good work it does.   So far we have 200+ people running the Brentwood Half Marathon for Lily and the charity.

Please help by donating as much or as little as you can.

thank you
