Goodwood racecourse have kindly given permission for Ellie and Abby and some of their friends to do a sponsored walk around the racecourse.
The walk will take place on the 22nd May 2011 at 10.30am and is raising money for The Racehorse Sanctuary.
The Racehorse Sanctuary and Re-Homing Centre is dedicated to those ex-racehorses who through no fault of their own are no longer able to race but deserve a secure future. The charity needs to raise £1m to buy premises as it has been given just 6 months to vacate its current home. This is the third move and it is incredibly stressful. The Sanctuary has now decided to buy premises to give absolute stability to the charity.
