On the 19th June, along with a group of colleagues from Barclays, I will be undertaking a gruelling 10 mile canoe down the River Thames to raise money for the Diana Awards and Westminster Boating Base. 

Starting opposite the Millennium Dome, we will paddle past all of London's great riverside sights and will finish at the other side of the city near the Houses of Parliament.

The Diana Awards empowers and engages socially active young people and Westminster Boating Base delivers watersports sessions to schools, community groups and young people, many of whom are disadvantaged and hard to reach.

Both of these charities are currently doing amazing work with the UK's young people and Barclays will match donations pound for pound so please give generously!
