I have set myself (perhaps the crazy) challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for the charity 'Dig Deep.' I always like to push myself in some shape or form, especially when it is for a worth while cause.... so I just couldn't resist.  Life is too short and when you see an opportunity as great as this, it's hard to turn it down. 

 

Dig Deep is a UK registered charity committed to helping communities in Kenya improve their access to clean water, sanitation and renewable energy. Through working with a range of inspirational local partners, they help communities to drill wells, harvest rainwater and access renewable technologies so that they are empowered to overcome the challenges they face.

Dig Deep is a small, grass roots organisation with a very small staff supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. Their aim is to work in parterhip with disdvantaged communitites in East Africa to help improve their access to water, sanitation and renewable energy in order to empower local people to overcome the challenges they face.
