I am running for everyone who has been touched by Cancer in one way or another. I have been very unfortunate & lost My Nana, Nanny & Grandad as well as My best friend & more recently my other Grandad to Cancer.  I want to commend the wonderful work Macmillion do & how they touched so many lives with their support. My Grandad passed away before Macmillian could help but they made my best friend very comfortable before she passed away 3 years ago & helped her family through the toughest time of their lives.  Just having someone listen & advise makes such a difference it will never take away the pain but it helps with the shock & what the future holds.

Those of you who had the plessure of knowing my Grandad, he was an amazing man with so much to give. My Grandad was like a Dad to me & my brother & brought us up from babies along with my Nana. I want to run for him especially because of the drive & support he gave me through my life & this is my way of giving back to him.

I am the person I am today because of my Nana & Grandad & I thank you for that.
