Our Mum, Clare Coote, discovered she had breast cancer in November 2009 and is well into her treatment. The news was a big shock to us all as she is fitter and healthier than us and has none of the risk factors except for her age! We entered The Playtex  Moonwalk on 15th May to support her during her treatment - and also in the hope it might make us fitter too! In addition the money raised will help the much needed research to understand the causes and find better cures for this frightening disease.

WE DID IT! It was very hard but also exciting. At the end we felt a great sense of accomplishment as well as completely exhausted and with legs that feel as if they will never walk properly again!
