Royal Parks Half Marathon 2015 · 11 October 2015 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Team work makes the Dream work, kids...

This is not the first time I run the Royal Park but this year I got my place through my company to raise some cash for The Prince's Trust. This charity does excellent work for young people less fortunate than you and I here in the UK.

The goal is £330 but let's get there as a team: if you wish please sponsor me anything up to £5. That is right: High Five! And no more than that. You have other things to spend your money on than on my eccentric sports events.

It is not about the money.

Every name on this list will become part of my mental cheering squad as I plough (or slog) through Miles 8 -11 (aka The Death Zone). Similar to how your donation will cheer on the young and underprivileged. Almost poetry, ey? And it didn't cost you more than a fiver. Good deed done. Have a drink, celebrate.

Thanks for your donation.

Much love,

Clarissa
