So, I’ve finally done it!! Iv signed up for what I think, and have been told by many, is going to be the most terrifying experience of my life! (Other than looking in the mirror in the morning..boom boom) And to make sure I’m not experiencing the terror on my own, iv managed to rope...sorry encourage my lovely friend Bilal (aka Billy) Oomer into doing it with me.<span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; mso-fareast-font-family: &quot;Times New Roman&quot;; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"> J On Friday 10 February 10am, Billy Oomar and I will be donning some fly proof goggles, a boiler suit, some extra thick giant huggies pants and jumping out of a plane! Cant wait!! :-0 Now the best bit: As you will all probably remember, in 2010, 3 other friends and I, did a 3 week trek in Peru to raise money for a homeless childrens refuge centre in Lima, Peru. After the trek, all three of us visited the safe house to meet all of the kids who would benefit from the money we raised.  We were absolutely bowled over and touched with how amazing these children were. Most had come from horrific backgrounds, and very deprived areas of Lima, and now, under the care of Project Peru, were developing into amazing little kids. (<a href="http://www.projectperu.org.uk/">http://www.projectperu.org.uk/</a>) The staff involved in Project Peru, both the volunteers in the UK and the refuge staff in the centre itself, do an absolutely amazing job of caring for these kids, who’s ages range from 2 to 20 years. They give them tremendous support, love and care as well as all of life’s essentials, that they wouldn’t have had, had they not been taken into Project Peru’s care. Project Peru is a UK charity, set up to help this one particular area of Lima, Peru and all the donations will go to this one centre . The money is used to fund the daily care of the children, education, and to further extend the grounds, the buildings, buy more land, in order to house more homeless children from one of the most poverty stricken areas of shanty town in Peru. If im going to jump out of this plane, Id love to take the opportunity to raise money once again for this fantastic cause. If you think im mad, please donate.
