I am taking part in the Big Walk 2018, a walking challenge on 22 June - a 26.2 mile marathon - distance Peak District walk starting in Lodge Moor on the edge of Sheffield, heading out to the Peak District and ending on the University campus. I have never walked this much but I am determined to get to the finish line!

I am helping raise funds towards a first of a kind MRI-PE scanner facility in the Sheffield region which will have an impact in our understanding of diseases such as cancer, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's .
