In June, I will be attempting the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Teesdale and Weardale Mountain Rescue Team through DUCK (Durham University Charity Committee) . This involves climbing Ben Nevis (1,344 metres), Scafell Pike (978 metres) and Snowdon (1,085 metres), the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales respectively, in just 24 hours! All the money raised from this challenge goes to the Teesdale and Weardale Mountain Rescue, a deserving cause which carries out vital work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They respond to a range of incidents in order to keep people safe and have also helped to make this event possible!
