I’m taking part in The Big Walk 2018, a walking challenge on 22 June – a 26.2 marathon-distance Peak District walk. This will be the furthest I've ever walked, but I'm ready to take on the challenge for this great cause! I thank you all for your support! 

Raising the funds towards the University’s £2 million fundraising campaign will provide a ground-breaking MRI-PET scanner facility, the first of its kind in Yorkshire. The Sheffield Scanner will represent the next leap forward in medical and imaging research and have a crucial role for research and patients in many areas of medicine, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases such as Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, heart disease, diabetes and stroke
