Raising money for The Mary Hare Foundation · 30 April 2013

Mary Hare School is a national charity for deaf children aged 4-19. We educate, on average, 160 deaf children through immersion in written and spoken English. Pupils attend from across the UK, to access the education they deserve, making friendships with other deaf children with shared experiences.

Story

On the 4th July 2013 I am riding in a charity horse race at Newbury Racecourse to raise money for the Mary Hare Foundation. I have never ridden in any kind of race before so it could be very entertaining! This is my chance to realise my own dream of race riding and also raising money for a very good cause.

The Mary Hare Foundation provides education for deaf children from the ages of 5-19 years. Due to the specific methods of teaching required, high tech equipment as well as highly trained staff are needed. This is all at a great cost, which is why donations are important to the charities work. They provide opportunities for these children to enable them to reach their full potential.

Please donate no matter how big or small any contribution is gratefully recieved.
