CLICK® is a freelance production group created by teachers. As well as providing an eclectic learning experience in performance through developing high quality musical productions with performers of all ages and abilities, we provide workshops in dance, drama, music, stage combat, make up, storytelling, physical theatre and the technical aspects of the performing arts.  We even offer guest workshops with professional Actors and Dancers, prepare students for LAMDA Acting examinations, and run Drama Consultancy workshops bringing the holistic approach of the arts into personal development, education and management.

We have an excellent history of supporting local charities, in particular Mencap, and have won many community awards including “The Mayoral Award” (Hastings), and “The Witney & District Mencap award” finding the arts an excellent forum for confidence building and creative expression for all.

CLICK’s production of “The Full Monty” (Yasbek & McNally) is being performed in support of Watford Mencap, Hillingdon Food Bank, and Hillingdon Autistic Care and Support Services.

Watford Mencap: "...has been working with people with a learning disability, their families and carers in South West Herts for almost 60 years. Next year we shall be celebrating our Diamond Jubilee. Although we are affiliated to national Mencap, we receive no funding from them and have to raise all our money locally. Our Children’s Centre in supports 150 children with a learning disability, some with profound physical disabilities as well. The children have conditions such as Down’s Syndrome, Autism and Cerebral Palsy. We aim to ensure that they have fun and a chance to meet their friends, while giving their parents a much-needed break. We provide an after school club 5 nights a week, a Saturday club, youth club and holiday playschemes. A £10 donation will pay for one hour of afterschool club, for one of our children."

Hillingdon Food Bank: “…provides short term and emergency food to families in the borough going through difficult times and crises. The Hillingdon Food Bank is built on Compassion, Integrity and Commitment to restore dignity and give hope.”

Hillingdon Autistic Care and Support Services: “…works in partnership with Health, Education and Social Services to enhance the range of quality and provision of services for parents and carers of adults and children with  autistic spectrum disorder.”

Please note that there is NO online facility for Hillingdon Food Bank and Hillingdon Autistic care, but cheques can be made payable to the "Mayor's Charity Appeal 2010/11" and sent to Mayor's Parlour, London Borough of Hillingdon, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge UB8 1UW.  They also accept donations in the form of gifts which can be used in auctions or raffles.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTION:  THE FULL MONTY by McNally and Yazbek is a musical version of the well-loved BAFTA winning film following 6 unemployed steelworkers as they learn about friendship, family...and how to look good naked. Despite its name, this is a humorous and heartwarming musical that sensitively touches on serious subjects such as father's rights and depression (with only implied nudity at the end). However, theatre patrons are advised that some scenes and language may be unsuitable for very young children.

The Full Monty will be performed at THE COMPASS THEATRE, Glebe Road, Ickenham, UB10 8PD from 10th -14th August, 2010.

Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions) and can be booked via the Compass Box office: 01895 673200 www.compasstheatre.co.uk or Click’s website: www.clickproductions.co.uk
