<p>In recent years, a number of close friends have been touched by the wonderful work that Willen Hospice does. Having seen what these friends have had to endure and the kindness and care they have been shown by the staff at Willen Hospice, it made me want to do something more than just put my hand in my pocket. It seemed a good idea at the time to enter the London Marathon and much to my surprise, I was successful! Much to everyone's surprise, including mine, I managed to complete it. I'm now the proud owner of a 2012 Marathon medal, and very sore legs! Please give as much as you can. They are worth it.</p>
